Brain is the most demanding and most curious organ in a human body. This can be attributed to its complex behavior which makes it hard for researchers to understand about it. Though all humans have an organ called brain, not all of them have the same functions derived out of it. Brain determines the intelligence level of a human. It is a well known fact that different people have different level of intelligence in them. This is a very important point as far as the understanding of the brain is considered. This is also a solid proof that the brain is used differently by different people though all have it in equal size and structure.
The complexity of the brain is even more severe when it encounters a disease. Numerous brain related diseases like dementia , Alzheimer's , parkinsonism disease, brain tumour, brain cancer etc are also very difficult to cure and even to detect . This again highlights the importance and the complexity of the brain . But there is one thing in common; most of the diseases due to the damage of brain have no proper symptoms before it arrives. This makes it extremely difficult to analyze and treat. However due to extensive research and other developments there are a few occurrences within our body which can be considered as brain damage symptoms. Few of the common symptoms includes sudden loss of memory, reduction in the intelligence quotient, reduction in the ability to take decisions , frequent and weird type of head ache, disability in some part of the body and mental dilution etc are few of the many symptoms of brain damage .
They are mostly irreversible and if once attacked cannot be brought back to its original state easily and few are reversible provided the problem is diagnosed at an early stage.
Human brain is a very small organ which virtually acts as a network hub for the different organs via the nervous system. Any damage to the brain may affect any part of the body depending upon the place in the brain where the damage has happened. If the damage has affected the optical nerve, the eye sight of a person can be affected and so on. The brain is made up of millions and millions of brain cells in them. Each brain cell may have a specific function for a specific nervous system which supplies instructions and other requirements for an organ to function in a proper way. Hence if brain cell is affected due to external or any other form of injury then there ought to be certain physiological changes that may happen in a body. Certain brain damages may be caused due to reasons which are internal to a body. Hereditary problems, genetic problems, damages caused to brain due to excessive drinking of alcohol or other inducing drugs etc are few of the examples.
Brain is a very sensitive and important organ in a human body. Though a complete protection is not possible, as far as possible its vulnerability to damages has to be controlled for a problem free life.
